MCTC Romania

MCTC Romania is taking root as Casa Mea Casa Ta - a direct translation of Mi Casa Tu Casa, “My home is your home,” to the Romanian language.

Our
Values

We believe that true transformation of the nation begins with the transformation of individual hearts. It is our desire to continue the work that Jun’s father began in 1992 and continue carrying the torch to be light in the dark and salt that brings life to flavorless lives. We feel humbled and honored to know that He has invited us to take part in a greater story He has been writing in the land of Romania.

We believe that true transformation of the nation is communal. When I am going against the national stream of poverty or orphan, I will be overpowered. A cord of two can defend themselves. A cord of three will not be easily broken. This is the reason Jesus loves His bride, His church. We pray that the communities we build in Romania will strengthen the church, invite others to join, and transform the surrounding culture.

We believe that true transformation of the nation is slow. We understand that what the Lord is doing in Romania precedes us and will succeed us. Our posture is to journey and put our roots down for the long-haul, rejoicing with those who rejoice, mourning with those who mourn. As our knowledge and experience of the nation deepens, we pray that our hearts will be transformed to love Romania as Jesus loves Romania.

CMCT VISION

The overarching goal of CMCT is to host foreigners who desire to serve the needs of the vulnerable population in Romania as Jesus served. We value and welcome the cultural, spiritual, and emotional exchange among brothers and sisters in Christ.
