Romania is a country located in Southeastern Europe, specifically in the northern Balkan Peninsula. It borders the Black Sea to the southeast, Bulgaria to the south, Serbia to the southwest, Hungary to the west, Ukraine to the north and east, and Moldova to the northeast. The country is positioned at the crossroads of Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe.
